1. General requirements
Every advertisement must accurately represent the website, business, creator, service, publication, store, social profile, or other destination being promoted.
Advertisements must be clear, truthful, lawful, and suitable for inclusion in a public search engine and directory.
Members must not attempt to mislead visitors, evade review, impersonate another person or business, or conceal the true purpose of a destination.
2. Destination requirements
Every advertisement must include one complete and secure destination URL beginning with:
https://
The submitted destination must:
- Open successfully in a standard web browser.
- Lead to the website or social profile described by the advertisement.
- Be publicly accessible without requiring the reviewer to possess a private invitation, administrative account, or special access code.
- Be safe to visit and free from malware, phishing, forced downloads, deceptive browser alerts, or other harmful behavior.
- Remain substantially consistent with what was submitted for review.
Broken, unsecured, inaccessible, misleading, or unexpectedly redirected destinations may be returned for correction or rejected.
Members should test the exact destination page before creating an order.
Website destinations
A website advertisement must be placed in the most appropriate available directory category.
A website destination must not be submitted under the Social Media category merely to avoid choosing an appropriate website category.
Social-media destinations
Social advertisements must use a complete URL for the relevant profile, channel, page, post, or other approved social destination.
Social destinations are placed in the Social Media section of the directory.
3. Advertisement headlines
Advertisement headlines may contain no more than 40 characters.
A headline must:
- Describe the advertised destination clearly.
- Be truthful and reasonably supported by the destination.
- Avoid exaggerated, deceptive, or unverifiable claims.
- Avoid impersonation, misleading branding, or unauthorized claims of affiliation.
- Avoid excessive capitalization, repeated punctuation, or other spam-style formatting.
A headline must not promise results that the destination cannot reasonably deliver.
4. Directory descriptions
Directory descriptions may contain no more than 250 characters.
The description should explain what a visitor will find after opening the destination.
Directory descriptions must not contain:
- Website addresses or clickable links.
- Email addresses.
- Repeated domain names.
- Misleading claims or unrelated promotional text.
- Keyword lists intended only to manipulate search visibility.
The destination URL and display domain are presented separately by APlusWebTraffic.com and do not need to be repeated in the description.
5. Exact-match keywords
The first keyword is included with the year advertisement. Each additional keyword costs $1 for the same year term.
Keywords do not grant exclusive ownership of a search phrase. Multiple approved advertisers may qualify for the same keyword.
Every keyword must:
- Be relevant to the advertised destination.
- Accurately reflect the content, product, service, creator, business, or subject being promoted.
- Avoid deceptive use of another business, product, person, or brand name.
- Contain no more than 100 characters.
- Not be duplicated within the same advertisement.
Keywords that are misleading, irrelevant, abusive, unlawfully used, or selected only to attract unrelated traffic may be rejected.
6. Prohibited content and conduct
APlusWebTraffic.com may reject, remove, suspend, or refuse advertisements involving content or conduct that includes:
- Illegal products, services, activity, or instructions.
- Fraud, scams, phishing, impersonation, identity theft, or deceptive financial activity.
- Malware, spyware, harmful downloads, malicious scripts, or attempts to compromise a visitor’s device or account.
- False claims, fabricated endorsements, misleading guarantees, or deceptive representations.
- Exploitation, abuse, or sexual content involving minors.
- Non-consensual sexual content or content intended to facilitate sexual exploitation.
- Credible threats, targeted harassment, or content encouraging violence against a person or group.
- Unlawful discrimination or content that promotes hatred based on protected personal characteristics.
- Sale or promotion of stolen goods, counterfeit goods, or unlawfully obtained information.
- Unauthorized collection of passwords, payment information, identity documents, or other sensitive personal information.
- Attempts to manipulate, interfere with, overload, scrape, probe, or bypass the security of APlusWebTraffic.com.
- Any content that creates an unreasonable legal, security, reputational, or visitor-safety risk.
This list is not exhaustive. APlusWebTraffic.com may refuse a submission when reasonably necessary to protect members, visitors, the platform, or the public.
7. Human review
Every submitted advertisement is reviewed by a person before it becomes eligible for public exposure.
The review may consider:
- The advertisement headline.
- The destination URL and destination content.
- The selected directory category.
- The directory description.
- The submitted exact-match keywords.
- Compliance with these Listing Standards and the Terms.
Review is intended to improve quality and reduce misleading, harmful, broken, or inappropriate advertisements. Review does not constitute an endorsement of the advertiser or destination.
8. Corrections, rejection, and suspension
A submission containing a correctable problem may receive an opportunity to make a correction.
A correction opportunity is not guaranteed. Clearly prohibited, deceptive, dangerous, or abusive submissions may be rejected without a correction opportunity.
Repeated violations, attempts to evade review, or resubmission of prohibited content may result in account restrictions or suspension.
An approved advertisement may later be suspended or removed if:
- The destination becomes unavailable or unsafe.
- The destination materially changes after approval.
- The advertisement no longer accurately represents the destination.
- The member violates these standards or the Terms.
- Fraud, abuse, legal risk, or security concerns are discovered after approval.
9. Ongoing compliance
Approval applies to the advertisement and destination as reviewed. Members are responsible for keeping their advertisements and destinations compliant throughout the year term.
Members should promptly correct broken destinations, outdated claims, expired offers, or other material changes.
APlusWebTraffic.com may periodically recheck approved advertisements and destinations.
10. Payment does not guarantee approval
Payment occurs before human review and does not guarantee that an advertisement will be approved.
The year base purchase includes one advertisement, 1 included exact-match keyword, and eligibility for search and directory exposure after approval.
Each additional exact-match keyword costs $1 for the same year term.
Correctable submissions may be returned for correction. Clearly prohibited submissions may be rejected without refund, subject to the Terms and applicable law.
An advertisement does not receive public exposure while it is:
- In draft status.
- Awaiting payment.
- Pending review.
- Rejected.
- Suspended.
- Expired.
Only approved, active, and unexpired advertisements are eligible to appear publicly.
11. Questions or concerns
Questions about these standards may be submitted through the APlusWebTraffic.com contact page.
